Black is a protective, calming color that promotes resistance and obstruction
Blue is a calming, cooling and soothing color that is good for insomnia, headaches, neutralizing anger, itching, helps reduce tumors, infections, fevers, congestion, painful menstruation, treat the liver, glaucoma, epilepsy and heart palpitations.
Gold is the color in oriental healing because its principal properties are in strengthening the immune and cardiac system. It helps to awaken your own bodies healing mechanisms.
Green is the master healer for all conditions of the body. Like Blue, Green is also a soothing and cooling color that can also help the emotions and rebuild the tissues. Green is the color of energy, hope, envy, jealousy, and superstition.
Indigo helps reduce or stop excessive bleeding, pneumonia, a respiratory depressor, blood purifier, astringent and used in meditation for better levels of consciousness.
Indigo can cause depression so it should be used with soft orange colors to keep it balanced.
Orange is connected with the spleen which regulates circulation and metabolism. It helps the calcium metabolism and makes the lungs stronger.
Too much orange may effect the nerves and should be balanced with shades of green and blues.
Pink is soothing and can be used to treat the immune system, inflammations and skin conditions when combined with aqua.
Red treats constipation, malaise and increases circulation, energy and reduces nervousness. It should Not be used if the person has too much red in the face, a fever, has red hair or is easily excitabile.
Yellow cleanses the bloodstream and the liver, also stimulates the nerves. It is good for anxiety and depression that accompanies chronic headaches.

You can also eat the right colored foods to enhance the effect
Red foods include radishes, beets, tomatoes, red cabbage, red currants, red plums, watermelon, whole wheat, liver, red wine and grapes. Red metals, chemicals and other substances include barium, cadmium, copper, nitrogen, iron, neon, oxygen, potassium and zinc.
Yellow foods include bananas, banana squash, eggs, yellow cheese, yellow corn, yellow sweet potatoes, pineapples, lemons, grapefruit and butter. Yellow metals, chemicals and other substances include platinum and magnesium.
Green foods include green vegetables, peas, beans and lentils. Green metals, chemicals and other substances include barium, chlorophyll, nickel and sodium.
Blue foods include plums, grapes and blueberries. Blue metals, chemicals and other substances include copper, lead, oxygen and tin.
