Makes 2 Gallons

5 lb Pulverized or hydrated lime
6 1/2 pints water at room temp
1 1/2 lb salt
1 pint warm water

Mix room temp water and lime. Leave overnight
Next mix salt and warm water til salt is dissolved.
Mix salt and lime completely.
Colored powdered pigment can be added at this time if desired.
Store in air tight container.

Lime is a good germicidal and it lowers the acidity slightly around it, so using it around the garden or farm is natural and benefical.
