Recipe #1
Basic Bleu Cheese Dressing & Dip
(the better the quality of bleu cheese, the better the dressing)
4-ounces bleu cheese, crumbled
8-ounces mayonnaise
8-ounces sour cream
2 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons chopped chives
Preparation:
Mix together and refrigerate for at least an hour.
Serve with celery sticks
Recipe #2
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons buttermilk
1 tablespoon crumbled bleu cheese
1/8 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
Preparation:
1. Mix all ingredients together by hand in a small bowl until smooth.
2. Cover and chill for 30 minutes before serving.
Makes 1 cup.
Recipe #3
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 tblsp fresh lemon juice
1 tblsp raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp minced fresh garlic
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cups vegetable oil
1/2 cup crumbled bleu cheese
Preparation:
Put everything but the oil and blue cheese into a blender or food processor and process for 15 to 20 seconds.
Continue to process, adding the oil slowly in a thin stream.
When oil has been added, process for an additional 45 seconds, or until well thickened.
Add the cheese and mix well.
Refrigerate until ready to use.
Recipe #4
Ingredients:
Makes 1 Cup
4 Ounces bleu cheese
¼ Cup olive oil
½ Cup water
Salt to taste
Preparation:
Crumble the bleu cheese into small pieces and place in a blender.
Add the water, olive oil and salt. Blend until smooth.
To make the dressing thicker, use less water.
Serve with salads or raw vegetables as a dip
Recipe #5
Ingredients:
2 cups mayonnaise
1/2 pound crumbled bleu cheese
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1/8 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
1 pinch garlic powder
1/4 cup buttermilk
Preparation:
In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, blue cheese, balsamic vinegar, pepper, and garlic powder.
Gradually blend in the buttermilk until the dressing has reached the desired consistency.
Cover, and refrigerate until serving.

Ingredients:
1 3oz pkg cream cheese
1 1/2 ounces crumbled bleu cheese
1 8oz carton sour cream
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
2 tbsp milk
Preparation:
Soften cream cheese and combine with bleu cheese.
Stir in sour cream and remaining ingredients.
Cover and chill for 2 hours or more.
Recipe #7
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Sour cream
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Cup Kraft mayo
4 Ounces Blue cheese - crumbled
1/8 Teaspoon Onion powder
Preparation:
Use electric mixer to combine all ingredients until smooth.
Tightly cover and refrigerate.
Use within 10 days.
